Double winged liner smokey eye perfect for a night out!

This look I recently did for a girls night out and I absolutely love it and received so many compliments. I used mac cosmetic's fluidline in blacktrack. Although I do not recommend this as a base as it was very hard to smudge this out. (Lesson learned next time I will use nyx jumbo pencil in black bean)
Here are the steps (I used mac eyeshadows but you can use anything you have)

1) Apply a primer to both eyes, I used too faced eye shadow insurance. Next take nyx black bean and apply to outer half of the lid and blend with a Mac 217 brush.

2) Apply carbon to outer half of the lid and blend this out still using the Mac 217 brush.

3) Pat soft brown to the middle of the lid using a Mac 239 flat brush, next flip the brush over and apply brule to the inner corner of the eye.

4) Blend cork into the crease with a Mac 224 brush or you can use a 217 brush.

5) Apply mac blacktrack and wing it out using an angled brush, next apply this to the waterline and smudge a small amt under the lashline on the outer corner of the eye.

6) Smudge out the lower liner with cork and apply another wing to the lower lashline, add mascara and false lashes are a must with this look!!

Here is a quick look that I am posting today, I will be wearing this outfit to a family party this weekend. The top and long sweater I had gotten last year from Express. I find with Express clothing if you take care of it, it usually lasts you for years. I love the look of a long sweater and I love that the fabric is not itchy at all!! The leggings are from Target and the boots I bought during the fall from Steve Madden (I think they were called the Meddel boots).

The watch was again the overstock find of the Michael Kors Runway Watch. The bracelet I recently bought off etsy.com from Peppermint Lollipops. I love that it is a link chain bracelet with some black links, it really struck me as unique when I was searching for another link bracelet. I believe it was $25 and I think I used a coupon code with it but I can't remember. The owner Jenny was so sweet and my bracelet came delicately packaged, I am very happy with my purchase!!

The coach purse was my splurge, although I did get it on sale. I waited till coach gave out the $100 coupon of $300 purchase and bought this Legacy Molly Purse for $200 with free shipping. I was looking for something that was $300 because of the coupon and this was $298 so it was perfect. I usually use a purse till I run it into the ground and this one is big enough to fit all my needs ;) Well that's it for today, thanks for checking out my blog :)

OOTD post and a makeup look

Here is an OOTD I wore over the holidays. I absolutely love affordable fashion Express fashion, Arden B, JCrew, American Eagle and Victoria Secret are among my many fav's when it comes to clothes.

I try to never buy anything unless I have a coupon code along with free shipping. Free shipping is usually included when you spend over a certain amount. The first outfit is one where I purchased the shirt at Express, the leggings are from Target and the boots are from Steve Madden. I always buy my leggings from Target in the beginning of the fall season as they are only $8. The Steve Madden boots (Emmitt) I bought for 25% off. I usually use dealigg.com to find all my online deals and they always update their site, I even think they update it hourly and/or daily.

The watch is Michael Kors Oversized runway watch that I bought for $180 on Overstock.com!! These retail for $275 in the store so I was happy about that deal. The bracelet I bought on etsy.com for only $12. I love finding jewelry that is gold plated so that it won't tarnish ;)

So here is a look I did using the Dior Stylish Move Palette. This colors are beautiful blended together, I just love it.

I used Urban decay primer potion and then added the colors according to the graph. This look is perfect for daytime or even at night, I just love purples!!

Emerald Green Look

This is my first post, not sure if anyone will ever see this but if you are then thank you for checking out my blog. I have always had a love for makeup and would have a morning routine of doing it since the 8th grade!! I love how artistic you can be with it and totally transform yourself with the power of makeup.

For this look I used the coastal scents 88 palette that I bought for $9 on coastalscents.com. That is another thing about me I love to get deals on everything I buy especially makeup!! Because as we all know makeup can be expensive!!

I coordinated the numbers to go with the color placement, here are some pics!!
